Watch Asylum Stunts member and LBP collaborater Alex Hashioka in Public Enemies!

Public Enemies recently premiered on July 1st, and LBP collaborator Alexander Hashioka-Oatfield is featured in a small stunt during a prominent scene in the film.

In the scene, FBI Agent Melvin Purvis (Christian Bale) has located John Dillinger's (Johnny Depp) hideout at the Little Bohemia Lodge in Wisconsin and is attempting an overnight ambush. However, a hasty ambush by the FBI leads to a violent shootout in the woods between Dillinger's gang and the FBI.

Alex is inside the car in this clip, as it's being ambushed and shot. Click below to view in HD!

Aero Chicago Parkour National Parkour Day Jam

June 6th, 2009, was officially National Parkour Day, and many Parkour and Freerunning teams across the U.S. held jams in all the major cities. Aero Chicago Parkour held their own jam at the University of IL-Chicago, and though weather conditions made things a bit slippery at times, the vigilant traceurs continued jamming throughout the day. Emmanuel went out to film footage for the group, and though he could only stay for about 3 hours, he managed to get alot of amazing footage, and hopefully give people a glimpse of how close the Parkour/Freerunning community is in the Chicago land area. This video features good friend Ryan "Cloud" Cousins, along with other Aero members Cody Beltramo, Michael "Frosti" Zernow, Jacob Carlson, Emanuel Yarn, Travis Polad, and LBP member Alex "Fresh Face" Meglei. Enjoy!

The Assignment 47 Web Series Is Now Live!

Back in 2007, Steve James of Komelion Productions, Inc. contacted Emmanuel about a web series he was producing, directing, and starring in called "Assignment 47".

Emmanuel went and helped out Steve, action directing the fight shot for the first episode, and helped train Steve in film fighting. The action sequence featured LBP member Jessie Bayani and good friend Jon L. Brody.

Yet it would take nearly 2 more years for the web series to finally premiere it's first two episodes, which you can view on the newly debuted site here:

http://www.assignment47.com/

The site so far has the first 2 episodes up, info about the story, cast, and crew, as well as other extra features, and will be constantly updated as time goes on, debuting more episodes and info about the production.

The fight scene in the first episode is cut short for story reasons, but you can view the fight in it's entirety here:

Lazy Brown Productions has its own wiki-style page!

Thanks to "The Stunt People", and their founder Eric Jacobus, Lazy Brown Productions now has it's own Wikipedia style encyclopedia about LBP, its members and affiliates, and so much more. You can view our wikipedia here:

Lazy Brown Productions Wiki

The reason for the creation of such a wikipedia style encyclopedia is to give fans and those interested in the services of such established stunt teams as The Stunt People, Zero Gravity, Jabronie Pictures, and LBP, along with showcasing not only info about the group, but their members, people they have collaborated or worked with, and so on and so forth. It also brings light to many of the up and coming indie stunt and production teams that so frequently visit the SP forums and showcases their work and members as well.

I think it's a fab resource, and that if you have an indie stunt team, feel free to join and post up your work or info about your members! It's a great and efficient way to showcase everything you do.

That's all for the big updates as of late. LBP is staying busy as usual, and Emmanuel is stunt coordinating some more shorts, with hopefully pictures and footage to be seen soon enough. Till then, take care and thank you for your support! Please check the wiki frequently as it is constantly updated.
